MirmanHodgmanSchaal Sandwich-To-Go Tour Comes To The Vic

2013_10_sandwich_to_go_tour.jpg There is a whole lot of funny headed toward Chicago this weekend. A single performance from either Eugene Mirman, or John Hodgman or Kristen Schaal would be enough to leave us in stitches. The thought of the three sharing a stage in a single night leaves us slightly worried we'll asphyxiate from laughing too hard.

Hodgman and Schaal are probably the better known comedians, at least to the general public. Both have appeared on The Daily Show though you might recognize Schaal best from her appearances in Flight Of The Conchords and 30 Rock. Hodgman is currently riding high on the Judge John Hodgman podcast and his recent Netflix special Ragnarok. We have a soft spot for him because he is an incredibly entertaining interview and he loves Jeppson's Malort.

Mirman falls more into the camp of the comedian's comedian, though he is no stranger to the mainstream either with numerous TV appearances and a regular role on Bob's Burgers. (Schaal voices youngest daughter Louise on the program.) While Hodgman and Schaal tread safer waters, Mirman fully commits to the extreme weird in his skewed performances. Enjoy a sample.

Putting all three of these comedians together is a stroke of genius, a once-in-a-lifetime experiences and a guaranteed wild ride.
