Stuff Yourself With Chocolate This Weekend

2013_10_18_Chocolate.png Car Show? Meh. Housewares show? We're not really that interested. But when the Chicago Fine Chocolate and Dessert Show comes to Navy Pier, our ears perk up and our stomach starts to growl.

Today through Sunday, head to Navy Pier to sample chocolates from tons of vendors, see cake and pastry art made by competitors from the Food Network and TLC, watch demonstrations and gaze at a 1000-pound chocolate sculpture of a Chicago blues musician. Some of Chicago's best pastry chefs, including Meg Galus (Nomi) and Patrick Fahy (Sixteen) will be sampling signature creations. There's also a whole line-up of free seminars for home cooks, small business owners and chefs.

Tickets are $25 per day, if you purchase in advance. Day-of tickets are $30. If you want to bring your child, it only costs $10.
