1. There is yet to be a better movie about working in a record store.

High Fidelity, is the story of music, love, growing up, regressing, growing up, more music, pain, further regressing and, after a bunch more music and pain and all of that, the healing power of DJing at Double Door. Or something like that. Even if you've seen it a million times—like this writer—seeing it on the big screen is a real treat. So join SOund Opinions hosts Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot tonight for a special showing of the film at The Music Box. Tickets are still available but we've been told they WILL sell out before the showing tonight so don't wait to snatch some up!
