Restaurant News: Next: Steakhouse?; A10 Sets Opening Date

- Is the next iteration of Next (darn you, Achatz, for making that sentence possible) going to be a steakhouse? He tweeted out this earlier in the week:

That's gonna be a lot of beef, especially if they keep with the number of courses they are running now.

- A10, the new Hyde Park restaurant from Chef Matthias Merges (Yusho), has an opening date and a menu! The Hyde Park Herald first revealed the date, which is now on their website. The italian-focused menu will be executed day to day by Chef John Vermiglio. Looks like the high-end Hyde Park trend is finally becoming reality.

- A new vegan restaurant is coming to Uptown. Uptown Update reports that Loving Heart has taken over the previous Purple Cow location on Montrose. No details are available yet, but we'll be keeping an eye on it.
