There are still tickets available as of post time for tonight's Mash Tun Oktoberfest at the Co-Prosperity Sphere. The event coincides with the release of issue #4 of Mash Tun: A Craft Beer Journal. The journal, published by Maria's Packaged Goods and Community Bar and The Public Media Institute, follows the pleasures and aesthetics of craft beer and its intersections with food, culture and society.

To that end the event will feature popular and rare beer selections from Half Acre, Virtue Cider, Solemn Oath, Pipeworks, Lagunitas, Allagash, 18th Street, Stone, Greenbush, Scratch, Penrose, Off Color, Three Floyds, Two Brothers, and the upcoming community brewery Marz Community Brewing Co. Food will be provided by Pleasant House Bakery and Martinez Foods. "Geighties" cover band Members Only, Population, and DJ Hector and Co. will play music and Teetsy will be doing a live silk screening demonstration and giving away t-shirts. Maria’s will also be providing tastes of a wide variety of fruity, spicy, tart and pumpkin beers . Hardcore Craft Beer will be featuring their Alechemy project during the night and prizes will be awarded for best costume.

Tickets ($40) are available here.

The Co-Prosperity Sphere is located at 3219-21 S. Morgan St.
