Real Kitchen Hilariously 'Dresses Up' As Alinea For Halloween

You know you've succeeded as a parodist when the subject of your parody recognizes themselves in your piece. Real Kitchen released this video of their transformation into Alinea for Halloween and owner Nick Kokonas himself approved, calling it "genius."

This sendup of haute cuisine is pitch perfect. They're putting chickens through juicers "to concentrate the flavors," covering potatoes in krazy glue ("culinary chemicals") and replicating Alinea's famous dinnerware with coat hanger sculptures. Oh, and it's all supposed to be takeout.

Watch this. Unfortunately, the restaurant isn't actually doing any of this stuff, but they are giving away free cupcakes for Halloween.
