Thursday Afternoon Diversion: The Best Halloween Light Display In The Chicago Area

By Chuck Sudo in Arts & Entertainment on Oct 31, 2013 8:00PM

A couple weeks back we asked readers to name their picks for the best Halloween lights displays in the area and you offered some choice selections. But there's one that stands out among the rest.

A house in Conan Doyle Road in Naperville is tricked out with LED lights forming skulls, jack o' lanterns and creatures of the night, set in time to songs like Awolnation's "Sail," Rammstein's "Du Hast Halloween," The Doors "People Are Strange" and Rob Zombie's "Dragula."

Our favorite has to be the light show synchronized with Fall Out Boy's "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)."

The display runs 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. weeknights and 6 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. on weekends and will stay up until at least Nov. 4.
