You may want to try out wearing thin layers today. As of post time the mercury reading is barely above freezing on its way to a balmy peak in the upper 40s with winds out of the northwest gusting up to 22 mph. The forecast high is only a few degrees colder than the average for this time of year but we're all weather veterans and that wind will send it cutting into you if you don't wear a coat or fleece.
The skies, for a change, will be mostly clear but Skilling Central isn't ruling out a chance for afternoon sprinkles. The clouds will dissipate overnight and things will get colder for Friday morning. Thank whatever you deem holy for fleece bedsheets.
