Active Transportation Alliance announced a partnership with Revolution Brewing to be its "preferred beer" for events such as the Four Star Bike and Chow as well as smaller workshops and social events at Chicagoland bars and restaurants. As a sponsor, Revolution will donate beer for two large-scale events; Active Trans will sell the beer at the events and put the proceeds toward its mission.

Active Trans and Revolution are also teaming up for a new ride and party next year at Revolution's Kedzie Street production facility. Active Trans Deputy Executive Director for Events and Marketing Ethan Spotts told Chicagoist the target date for the new ride is July 27 26 and that "We had thoughtful conversations with West Town Bikes and Friends of the Parks to ensure that our events wouldn’t overlap and be detrimental to any of the events."

"We didn’t want to squash any efforts that those two nonprofits were doing, of course, and we hope to work with both on co-marketing all the events," Spotts added.
