A couple of weeks ago, we speculated (along with the rest of the food world) that the next menu for Next restaurant would be steak. Now we know.

Chef Grant Achatz spilled the beans to Food and Wine Magazine late Tuesday. Not only is it going to be steak, it's going to be steak, Mad Men style.

"We want to transport people back in time and show them what it was really like to eat in the early 1950s, when a steak house was almost more of a club, with individual wine cellars and cigars."

Great old 50s dishes like lobster thermidor, creamed spinach and iceberg wedge salad will make up the rest of the menu. Tickets will go on sale after Thanksgiving.
