So far, reviews have been good (including from yours truly) for Dusek's Board and Bar, the Pilsen restaurant from the group behind Longman & Eagle. The restaurant and its basement bar Punch House have been open for a little over a month now, though the attached performance venue is still being renovated. We just got word that Sunday brunch will begin at Dusek's on Dec. 1.

The menu looks absolutely amazing. Check out some highlights:

- Red wine poached hen eggs, chickpea panisse, dehydrated bacon, braised green beans. $14

- Oyster hash, glazed pearl onion, pork belly pave, soft boiled hen egg, porter bearnaise. $15

- Choucroute latke, sliced house garlic sausage, carraway pickled apple, cider emulsion. $13

- BBQ shrimp and grits, collard greens, one hour egg. $15

If you're a fan of the Juicy Lucy burger (and if you aren't, what's wrong with you?) it'll also be on the brunch menu. No reservations will be taken unless you have a group of five people or larger; sounds like we need to get some friends together.
