In short: it's cold right now. The high is expected to reach the upper 20s while northwest winds may have you playing hooky from that planned half-day.
If you're like me and hitting the road to visit family for Thanksgiving, be careful, especially if you're driving east to Indiana and Michigan. There's a possibility for lake effect snow that will slowly end overnight but could result in accumulations between six and 14 inches of snow.
