Last-Minute Plans: 18 Days On 18th Street Holiday Launch

Put a dent in your holiday shopping in Pilsen with tonight's launch of "18 Days on 18th Street." The shopping campaign by the Greater Pilsen Economic Development Association brings together specials from over 20 shops in time for the holidays.

Things kick off in a few minutes with the lighting of the holiday tree at Plaza Tenochtitlan (1800 S. Blue Island Ave.) at 5 p.m. Shuttle buses will run between the participating stores from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

If you can't make it to tonight's festivities the 18 Days on 18th Street runs through Dec. 24.
