Former Bears coach Mike Ditka is firmly enjoying his twilight years with all his business dealings and endorsements, his ESPN talking head gig, beating a stroke, imagining an alternate universe where he prevented Barack Obama from becoming president, and the adoration of people across the Chicago area. [Whose lips are probably moving as they read this and for whom it's still the mid-80s and Ditka is warning his players to pay attention to football as he steals commercial endorsement opportunities from them.]

"Da Coach" is having his number 89 retired by the Bears at Soldier Field Monday night during the team's game against the Dallas Cowboys (he won a Super Bowl as a player in Dallas) so Ditka fever, which already runs high year-round in Chicago, will be at a greater pitch this weekend. If you see any Ditka lookalikes on the streets this weekend flipping people off, chewing gum to the point where their jaws break, and telling people to "get yer mouth shut" send them to Double Door Sunday.

Da Bears Blog and Art of Men present a Ditka Lookalike contest to benefit the Otis Wilson Charitable Association. Super Bowl Bear Wilson will be a judge for the event along with former Bears offensive lineman James "Big Cat" Williams and other Bears notables. Bring your best Ditka look, from the classic sweater vest and state trooper shades look to the aging restaurateur spitting on the floor of his restaurant to the beet-faced souse pictured to the right. (If you plan on entering the contest as that iteration of Ditka start drinking now.)

The winner will receive two tickets to Monday night's game to watch the game and see Ditka's number retired. Entry is $10.
