Chicago is ga-ga for Eataly as evident by the long lines snaking around Ohio Street in advance of its opening last week. The foot traffic and attendant sales apparently didn't ebb as the week progressed and reached the point where the city's new food palace of the moment announced they were closing today to re-stock and be ready for the continuous stream of people. Check out this announcement (h/t 312 Dining Diva).
At least they'll be open bright and early with hopefully enough espresso to warm the office drones as they fight single-digit temps to get to their cubicles.
