Today's Weather: Call Mr. Plow

The city's Plow Tracker app says the salt trucks and plows are out in force but the scene outside Chicagoist's Bridgeport headquarters tells another story as cars gently roll down the street and the dibs threat level is still blue.
Here's hoping the plows make it to the side streets today before shit starts to freeze overnight. We're still in the midst of a deep freeze and should expect highs in the lower 20s and single digit wind chills thanks to the customary west winds that are accompanying this weather. The mercury plummets to the single digits overnight before the freeze commences in earnest as we head into the midweek.
