Video: First Trailer For Wachowskis’ New Film

The first trailer for the Wachowskis’ new film Jupiter Ascending, their first fully original movie since The Matrix trilogy, debuted this week. After the adaptation of Cloud Atlas bombed last year at theaters, it’s refreshing to see something completely original from the Chicago natives.

The film is a sci-fi blockbuster that stars Channing Tatum (with Spock-like ears) as a part albino, part wolf ex-military genetically-engineered intergalactic hunter sent to kill Jupiter, played by Mila Kunis. Jupiter isn’t aware that apparently her DNA could mark her as the next leader of the universe. Clearly from the trailer Kunis and Tatum form a bond and many explosions ensue.
