Beyoncé at United Center
Well, this is kind of a no-brainer. And we assume you downloaded her brand-spanking-new album last night at midnight when she unexpectedly unleashed it upon the world. If you manage to get a selfie with her, let us know.

Friday, December 13, at United Center, 1901 W Madison, 8 p.m., $45-$250, all ages

The Breeders at Metro
We've already gone over why you should NOT miss this show, but in case you missed it, the band will be playing both Pod and Last Splash in their entirety. And there is still no one in the world cooler than Kim Deal.

Saturday, December 14, at Metro, 3730 N Clark, 9 p.m., $28, 18+

The Noise FM at Subterranean
The Noise FM are riding high on the recent release of their pretty excellent album, but that doesn't mean they don't have time to give back to the community. Saturday's show is their annual Noise For Toys charity show, so you get discounted entry if you show up with a toy to donate to kids in need.

Saturday, December 14, at Subterranean, 2011 W North, 9 p.m., $10 / $5 with a packaged toy, 17+
