Video: Watch The Bruce Rauner Campaign Video That Will Creep Out Illinois Next Month

Last week Chicagoist pointed you in the direction of a series of creepy campaign videos made by venture capitalist and GOP gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner.

Rauner's campaign asked people to vote on the 16-second ad that would air in Illinois broadcast markets next month. Aptly, they chose "Snow Globe," which is one of the creepier ones in Rauner's #HammerandShake campaign. Peep, peeps!

Rauner is trying hard to galvanize his campaign to undecided voters as a no-nonsense, populist run for governor but these ads have him coming across as a wealthy middle-age man with an acute case of attention deficit disorder. None of these "Hammer and Shake" ads should run on television but money talks and Rauner has a lot of it.
