Last Minute Plans: Trans-Siberian Orchestra At Allstate Arena, 12/28

“Hallmark” your calendars, folks. In what can only be described as a weird collaboration, the Hallmark Channel is presenting the Trans-Siberian Orchestra on their 2013 tour of “The Lost Christmas Eve.” The event is billed as the final/encore performance of the rock opera, but it also promises a few “surprises” and a new stage.
It’s possible you’d already set your mind to tearing down the tree and stowing the lights, but we think it might be worth it to consider a more colorful sendoff. You may have decked the halls and narrowly avoided decking your relatives at one point or another, but surely you have room in your now several sizes larger heart for some crazy guitar solos, laser lights as far as the eye can see and sweet pyrotechnics.
By all accounts if you’re at all a fan of Trans-Siberian these shows are tradition for good reason and they really bring down the house. Since it’s the last run of this particular show, maybe it’s time to grab a Trans-Siberian virgin and prepare to rock the night away.
