Today's Weather: Same Auld Lang Syne

The snow that fell last night was but a priming of the proverbial pump for this evening and tonight. As we mentioned in Monday's midday news links today sets the stage for up to six inches of snowfall by Thursday morning. The high temp and overnight lows are expected to be within a degree or two of each other so if you are doing the amateur thing and celebrating New Years Eve away from home, try to dress sensibly as well as to impress. Walks of shame in this weather can be pretty embarrassing if caught on camera.
