Chicagoist Weekend Theater: Snow Removal With Caterpillar Tractors

While you're using the city's Plow Tracker app to see if the streets near you are being cleared, here's a video from Chicago Film Archives' Charles E. Krosse collection. The nine-minute silent film from 1926 was commissioned by Caterpillar to show how their tractors could be used to clear snow from rural and residential areas.

We could use a couple of these on the streets right now.
