The Bulls have a modest two-game win streak on their hands in the early days of 2014 after defeating the feisty Hawks at the United Center Saturday night. Mike Dunleavy scored 11 of his 20 points to help Chicago hold off a second half Atlanta rally. Luol Deng, Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah each tallied double doubles and six Bulls scored in double figures. Paul Milsap and Jeff Teague led Atlanta with 16 points apiece.

In college basketball scores, Marquette defeated DePaul 66-56 while Illinois beat Penn State 75-55.
