Today's weather is already one for the record books. The official low temperature at O'Hare International Airport dipped all the way to -16 degrees, breaking a record set in 1988. But it wasn't close to the all-time low of -27 degrees set Jan. 19, 1985.

The Sun-Times spoke with National Weather Service meteorologist Jamie Enderlen who said the temperature could still drop a couple degrees today. Again, make sure you're protected from the elements if you have to step outside.
