Today's Weather: A Break In The Cold

TGIF and all that noise, eh? It is mild outside right now but we do have a freezing fog warning across the area until noon, when the already balmy temps in the low 30s are expected to rise further overnight. Expect a high in the upper 30s today and some heavy rain developing this afternoon. Coupled with all the snow on the ground and we could see some flooding. Skilling Central is predicting over an inch of rain by daybreak Saturday.
Suddenly a polar vortex seems reasonable for those of you scrambling to check your sump pumps in your basements.
