Bulls 103, Bobcats 97

The Chicago Bulls' win streak is now at five, thanks to a close victory over the Charlotte
Bobcats.
The Tribune describes a "patchwork lineup," for the Bulls, and that seems about right. Everyone pitched in. Carlos Boozer and D.J. Augustin scored double-doubles, while Joakim Noah had 19 points and grabbed14 rebounds. Noah's monster of a fourth quarter helped the Bulls pull back from a nearly blown lead for a victory.

Canadiens 2, Blackhawks 1

Despite the best efforts of goaltender Corey Crawford, the Chicago Blackhawks lost out to the Montreal Canadiens in a heartbreaking overtime loss. The Blackhawks tied the game 1-1 in the third quarter, thus forcing the game to overtime. But they just couldn't pull it off. Marian Hossa told the Tribune, "We're not going to score five (or) six goals those games so we just sometimes have to grind and battle through games like this." Here's hoping the next battle is a winning one.
