Today's Weather: Another Weather Acme

Good Morning, everyone and welcome to another chilly and gray work week. We'll enjoy the residual effects of a mild weather weekend with highs in the upper 30s (that's according to Skilling Central; Accuweather's current temperature is at 40 degrees) and winds out of the southwest later ranging between 15 to 25 mph. We should also expect some snow to return to the area this evening and overnight to at least cover the filthy piles of ice slush that didn't melt away with Friday's rains and the weekend thaw.
Things will get a bit dicey heading into Tuesday night as another mass of cold air reaches the area, dropping the temps into the single digits heading into Wednesday. But we won't have a polar vortex reprise again.
