Celebrate Sailor Jerry's 103rd Birthday With 103 Free Tattoos Tonight

To honor Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins’ would-be 103rd birthday, purveyors of one of our favorite rums, Sailor Jerry, are throwing a birthday party that includes lots of free things, including tattoos. 103 lucky recipients (first come, first serve) will receive a free swallow tattoo, the iconic little bird to your right that is a popular Sailor Jerry design. The folks at Great Lakes Tattoo will be providing the ink. While you wait your turn, enjoy a complimentary birthday dinner from Man B Que that includes dishes using Sailor Jerry rum (BBQ pork, bacon jalapeno cornbread, apple crumble). There will also be Sailor Jerry drink specials throughout the night.

Things kick off tonight with doors opening at 6 p.m. at Emporium Arcade Bar (1366 N. Milwaukee Ave.). The event starts at 7 p.m. but we suggest getting there early if you are hoping to score a free tattoo. Sounds like a solid plan to mix up your usual mundane Tuesday night.
