Do This: Festibarrel 2014 At Riverview Tavern

Weren't able to make it to the Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beers a couple months back? Don't fear. Riverview Tavern has a monster event Jan. 18 that will tie even the biggest barrel aged beer fan over until tickets for FOBAB 2014 go on sale in a few months.

Riverview Tavern's Festibarrel 2014 will showcase (as of post time) 36 barrel and wood aged beers for your drinking pleasure including classic favorites from Goose Island, Firestone Walker, Greenbush Brewing, Revolution, Haymarket, Begyle, Bell's Boulevard and others.

Riverview will also have a raffle featuring prizes such as 10 one-year memberships to the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild's "I'mbibe Illinois" program; gift certificates from local breweries and taverns; craft beer packages; a four-hour tour on the Chicago Brew Bus and two tickets to this year's Beer Hoptacular.

It all starts at noon on the 18th and runs until Riverview Tavern announces last call.
