Chicago Bars Slip In Draft Mag's 2014 Best Beer Bars In America List

Chicago has too many quality beer bars to mention and the best of them tend to wind up on Draft magazine’s annual list of the 100 best beer bars in America. But the Midwest is teeming with quality places to hoist a pint of ale and that competition means Chicago has two fewer bars on the list than a year ago.
Bangers & Lace, Fountainhead, Hopleaf, Local Option and Map Room remain on the list while Old Town Pour House and Sheffield’s are gone. As always it’s easy to get territorial with Draft Mag’s choices and they list bars that certainly merit inclusion. If you take a look at the list of Midwestern beer bars you could plan a few day trips with this and get an idea why these bars made the cut.
