On this penultimate day of the work week, Good Morning, readers. Today we have a brief respite from the arctic cold that's dominated our weather patterns the past couple weeks. Real brief. The highs are expected to reach just above freezing today before another rush of bitter cold air arrives tonight. Keep an eye on the winds; they'll be gusting out of the southwest throughout the day and may reach 30 mph before shifting to the northwest and sending wind chills plummeting to single digits overnight.
