Careful Man, There’s a Beverage Here!

How often do you get a beer tailor-made to pair with your movie? This Friday, The Logan Theatre and Pipeworks Brewing Co. present “Hey Logan, You’re Out of Your Element.” It’s an evening of celebrating, with costumes, a screening of The Big Lebowski and a new beer inspired by the Dude himself. Chicago-based Pipeworks, a brewery known for never making the same beer twice, brings you “Careful Man, There’s a Beverage Here.” The white Russian imperial stout is brewed with lactose sugar, cacao, coffee and vanilla. It’s the “oat soda for those days when you’re out of your element,” the label reads. The sweet and hardy flavors sound like just what we want on a chilly February night. Be sure to come early for a meet and greet with the Pipeworks crew, dressed in their finest bathrobes, of course.

Get ready to fight for a pint because the screening is sure to draw a lot of beer nerds and supplies are limited. The Big Lebowski is showing Friday, Saturday and Monday at 10:30 p.m. so get out your bathrobe, sip on a killer new brew from the tap and just chill out, man.
