Today's Weather: Where Is My Mind?

We don't know where your minds may be, readers, but ours is anywhere but the frozen streets of Chicago where today's forecast calls for partly sunny skies, some snow in the southern reaches of the area and a high in the upper teens, while we wait for another blast of arctic air to hit us right between the ice. It may be enough for us to think about the promise of warmer days and fight the weather with bourbon, crockpots and anything else on hand. At this point, it's a part of our being and we can get through, even when all we want are shorts, t-shirts and warm weather.
