Who Wrote This 'Hi Mom God Bless' Snow Message At Rush University Medical Center?

Employees at Rush University Medical Center are looking for the people responsible for this heartwarming message written atop a parking structure on the hospital’s campus last weekend.

Angela Washek, a surgical nurse at Rush’s Intensive Care Unit, said she noticed a few people on top of the structure shuffling around Saturday night working on the message that reads “Hi Mom God Bless!” (With a smiley face tagged on the “o” in “Mom.”)

“It was really heartfelt. It was a lot of effort and it was really cold that night. And those letters are huge. They’re about two car lengths’ long.”

Washek and others at the hospital have no idea for whom the message is intended but noted it can be seen from a few rooms inside the hospital.

Chicagoist reached out to Rush University Medical Center’s media relations department for more information and we’ll update this post if and when they reply.
