This should have you anticipating summer even more. Pitchfork announced their headliners and first round of artists for its annual music festival, July 18-20 at Union Park, and dare we say we're stoked once again to melt in the midsummer sun.

Beck will headline July 18, Neutral Milk Hotel headlines July 19 and Kendrick Lamar closes the festival July 20. There's something for everyone with these headliners. Beck, at this stage in his career, is in that space between "elder statesman" and "legacy act" although his musical explorations don't fully confine him in either category. Neutral Milk Hotel has always been a constant presence in our musical library with their jangly melodies and literate lyrics. The white hot Lamar, fresh off a Grammy snub and an apology by Macklemore, may be one of Pitchfork's best gets ever and won't inspire the hand-wringing R. Kelly did closing last year's festival.

Passes and single-day tickets to this year's festival are already on sale. Below is the lineup as it now stands.
