Today's Weather: Don't Be Cruel

This is Nature, screwing with us. We're looking down the schedule at the extended forecast with its promise of above freezing temperatures later in the week and forget that we have to get through Monday and the winter storm warning that's in effect throughout the day. Skilling Central and Accuweather are predicting as much as six inches of snow by the afternoon that IDOT and Streets and San will not be able to clear.
As for the rest of the forecast expect highs in the upper 20a or, if Skilling is correct, at the freezing mark. At this point the entire city may be suffering from weather-related PTSD with all this snow and cold. LEt's power through and get to Tuesday.
