Without going all Mayor Emanuel on you, Chicago is a "world class city" when it comes to food and dining. You know it. We know it. (Now take a shot of something 80 proof because we typed "world class city." Take two.)
Food & Wine magazine is currently conducting a survey of America's favorite food cities and this would be an ideal opportunity to engage in the classic Chicago tradition of voting early and often to ensure the city lands high atop the list, which will be published in F&W's September issue.
There are over 25 characteristics from which to choose, ranging from who has the best chefs (and name recognition does not always equate "best"); ethnic food scene; which city has the most affordable or romantic restaurants; best-looking bartenders; most adventurous diners; best and worst service, and more.
Get to choosing, then clear your cookie cache and do it all over again. It's the Chicago Way.
