So I brought up today's forecast from Skilling Central on my browser as I sat down to write today's weather post and he calls the predicted high of 41 degrees "modestly colder" than Tuesday. You need to stop looking at the world through jaded eyes, Tom. Because what I see is a forecast that doesn't call for sub-zero or single digit temperatures, blistering wind chills and levels of snow that make Chicagoans want to long for warmer climes. A high in the 40s is actually okay, compared to what we lived through to get here. And you didn't even mention the mostly sunny skies, Skilling. Those rays beaming down on us are an ultimate cure-all for any deep-seated funk.

So think positive, Tom, and let's go skating!
