Last week we needed to gut a tauntaun in order to stay warm. Today you'll need floatation devices to get to work. Unless you live in a windowless apartment you already know it's raining outside and the flood watch is on. (The cool side of that pillow? The dibs threat level is back to green; stop saving your parking spots.)

The temps will remain in the 30s until later this afternoon when a warm front arrives to introduce highs in the 50s and wind gusts this evening of up to 50 mph. If you have to go outside tonight. Be careful. The overnight temps will dip back down into the 30s overnight and the rain will change to snow, setting the stage for another a moderate weekend. If you haven't skated on Chicago Park District's outdoor rinks seize this opportunity—it's the last weekend the rinks will be open.
