Operated by the Benedictine monks of St. Boniface in Munich, until recently the only way to enjoy the beers of Andechs brewery was to travel to the monastery. Until now.

The Bavarian Lodge celebrates the draft release of Andechs starting noon Feb. 22 with three selections: Andechs Vollbier Hell (a classic Helles bock at 4.8 percent ABV);
Andechs Weissbier Hell (Hefeweizen, 5.5 percent ABV); and Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel (Dark Bock, 7.1 percent ABV).

The Bavarian Lodge is located at 1800 Ogden Ave. in Lisle.
