A suburban man was arrested Monday night after police acted on a tip and busted his meth lab, despite the fact the man was already on electronic monitoring for running a previous lab last summer. Our friends over at RedEye tipped us off to his well-timed fashion choice. Someone is clearly a big Breaking Bad fan. Maybe this wasn't the best choice in deciding to let art imitate life?

Daniel Kowalski, 21, of LaGrange has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, possession of methamphetamine precursors and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers found in Kowalski's home glass beakers, burners, chemicals, instructional materials for making controlled substances and 12 jars of psychedelic mushrooms, the sheriff's office stated. Kowalski was placed on electronic monitoring last July after a suspected meth lab was found in his home and he was arrested. Clearly instead of contemplating his poor choices the first time around, someone decided to trip on some shrooms and binge watch Breaking Bad. You know who isn't the one who knocks? The police.
