Those of us who enjoy a bit of sunshine may want to consider doing so indoors Thursday, at least through noon. That's when the wind chill advisory currently in effect ends and even then you may want get a second opinion. We're in store for another cold day with the mercury not even expected to reach 10 degrees—the normal temperature for this time of year is 40.

The wind chills should ease by the afternoon but by no means will they be comfortable, unless you consider a real feel of 15-below moderate. The temps will dip below zero overnight before bouncing back to the low 20s for Friday and the weekend. When will we see temperatures that are normal again? Probably the following weekend, if Accuweather's extended forecast holds.
