Chicagoist Weekend Theater: Siskel & Ebert Debate The Oscars Live [In 1990]
By Jon Graef in Arts & Entertainment on Mar 2, 2014 8:30PM
Check out the duds on late, great Chicago film critics Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert as they host their "If We Picked The Winners" Oscar Special, shot live-to-tape in front of a live audience on March 24, 1990, at Disney/MGM studios in Florida. The show is not about predications, but, rather, debating who should win if Siskel & Ebert had their druthers. Quite the time capsule, perfect for watching before today's big ceremony.
