Today's Weather: Wear What You Want

Who are we to tell you to resist the urge to wear shorts today, if you choose? It's already in the low 40s outside as of post time and the mercury has a date with a high in the mid-50s today. (We'll even take Accuweather's forecast with the highs topping out just below 50 degrees. The weekend of mild temps and today will do a number on the nasty piles of slush remaining, revealing some filthy streets and dog walking surprises across Chicago. But the true beauty lies underneath the grime. except for a slight backslide Wednesday it looks as though we may be ready to break the shackles of a winter that truly tried us.
