Pencil This In: Soup And Bread's 'Daylight Savings'

We have an extra hour of daylight now but Soup and Bread is winding down its 2014 season at Hideout with a "daylight savings" theme featuring soups "simmered with an extra hour of light. Featured cooks this Wednesday include The Fountainhead's Cleetus Friedman, The Numero Group's Michael Slaboch and Penny Duff, the Kovler Center's Mary Black, Lisa Haufschild, and others. Slaboch will serve double duty as the DJ for the evening. It all goes down Wednesday, March 12, from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Soup and Bread will wind down its 2014 season March 27. (1354 W. Wabansia)
