Julius Peppers, the eight-time Pro Bowler who was cut by the Chicago Bears this past Tuesday, the first day of free agency, has found a new home. According to his agent, Peppers signed a deal Saturday with the Green Bay Packers.

While the Bears had their reasons for cutting Peppers, mainly due to the salary cap, it seems that the defensive end opted to take his spice across the cheddar curtain. ESPN reports that Peppers signed a three-year deal worth up to $30 million. That kind of cash is muy caliente. (We're done, we promise.)
