Today's Weather: Punk'd

Don't shoot the messenger. We didn't bring the snow you're waking up to this morning. Same goes for Skilling, Taft, and the other weather peeps in town. Sure, you may want to curse whatever you deem holy. Just do so before you start to shovel your walk. Today's forecast is all jacked up. Skilling Central is calling for sunshine and a high in the 30s later today while Accuweather seems to be living up to its name and instead of a picture of the sun posted an image of a frozen thermometer instead. The one thing the two can agree on is this is not normal and Chicago's collective snow-induced PTSD returns with a vengeance.
As for those spring-like conditions we enjoyed a couple days ago, don't expect to see them around here until Thursday. But the mild temps will be tempered withrain. At least it won't be snow. (knockonwood)
