Cicchetti Launches Brunch This Weekend With Guest Ina Pinkney

Cicchetti is launching a brunch menu this weekend. The menu features new dishes like Fried Chicken Mercato, boneless dark meat with a spiced batter served with buttered polenta and salsa verde. Chef Mike Sheerin is no stranger to fried chicken, having consulted for Parson's Chicken and Fish.
Sweet offerings from Pastry Chef Sarah Jordan include a "bakery basket" of sweet and savory croissants, citrus-tinged breakfast cake, homemade jam and soft butter. Head bartender Daniel Casteel has developed a menu of brunch cocktails including Green Dragon Punch made with Green Dragon Tea, Smith & Cross rum and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
On Sunday, April 13, "Breakfast Queen" Ina Pinkney will be visiting to sell and sign copies of her new cookbook Taste Memories: Recipes for Life and Breakfast, as well as offer samples of her famous Sour Cream Coffee Cake. Her recipe for Pasta Frittata will also be available that day on the brunch menu.
