Thrillist Gives Us Another Italian Beef List To Eat Our Way Through

Last December Serious Eats Chicago editor Nick Kindelsperger compiled a list of 10 Italian beef sandwiches in Chicago readers may not have known about. Over at Thrillist Michael Gebert has a list of his favorite Italian beefs in town.
Gebert does a wonderful job here balancing the name joints like Al's #1 Italian Beef (the one on Taylor Street) and Mr. Beef with places popular with the foodies like Joe Boston's in Humboldt Pak or Johnnie's in Elmwood Park. The best thing for Italian beef lovers is there only Bari appears on both the Thrillist and Serious Eats lists; you can put these lists together and spend a few solid weeks working through it without intentionally making a return visit to a place.
