Divvy Set A Single-Day Record For Rides Last Weekend

Divvy Bikes subscribers took full advantage of last Saturday's 80-degree temperatures and set a single-day record for trips on the city's bike-sharing program. 10,866 rides were recorded by Divvy on Saturday, beating the previous record set last September by 201 rides. Annual members accounted for 3,821 trips, 24-hour users took 7,045 trips and together they pedaled more than 32,000 miles.

The most popular Divvy stations are:

- Streeter Drive and Illinois Street, with 375 start trips and 436 end trips
- Theater on the Lake, with 310 and 315
- Lake Shore Drive and Monroe Street, with 284 and 322
- Michigan Avenue and Oak Street, with 253 and 276
- Lake Shore Drive and North Avenue, with 204 and 207
